Q:  When I check in, what documents do I need?
A:  Please bring the following documents with you to your surgical appointment (photo identification, insurance information and emergency contact information).  Upon arrival to Las Ventanas Surgery Center, our reception team will assist you in completing all medical documents.  Please arrive at our surgery center one hour prior to your scheduled surgery or procedure. This time is very important to prepare you for your surgery or procedure. On occasion, there may be cancellation(s) and we may need to call you to come in earlier than originally scheduled. Do not bring valuables with you.  Leave all jewelry at home and arrange to leave your wallet or purse with your waiting friend or family member.

Q:  What type of insurance is accepted at Las Ventanas Surgery Center?
A:  Las Ventanas Surgery Center can offer significant cost savings over hospitalization for your surgery and is recognized by most insurance plans including Blue Shield, Blue Cross, PPO's, Worker's Compensation and Central Coast Alliance. Las Ventanas accepts all insurances that have out of network benefits. Patients are only required to pay their in-network co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles only. Q:  Does Las Ventanas Surgery Center have state-of-the-art technology and equipment?
A:  Yes, our facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art surgical and medical equipment and our staff is fully trained to operate all of the equipment.

Q:  Can I drive after my procedure?
A:  No, you are required to have a responsible adult (family member or friend) transport you from the facility home and to remain with you for 24 hours.
